[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JA 1s were not a bad shoe to hoop in, but there are better ones that Nike offers. The color and style of the shoe is great and reminds me a lot of the Paul George models. The reason why I rated it a 3 star because the break in time was so long and even to now it’s still stiff. The grip of the sole is also inconsistent in terms of its slippery on most courts unless the court is really wiped down. I have a size 9 in these but I need to go half a size up to have my feet comfortable in these. If I could describe this shoe with one word it would be stiff. I’m still going to wear these and see how it goes as more basketball runs go on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nike Ja 1 is sure to lock you down and launch you into the next orbit. The shoes have a pretty tight lock down insole around the mid foot so I’d advise going up .5 size if you want some room. Especially if you think you have wide feet. The Nike air zoom midsole wasn’t as cushiony as other Nike models but gets the job done with the extremely sticky soles that gives good traction on the court. Upper material is flexible and comfortable for consistent movement which never felt stiff and they break in nicely! Overall a great basketball shoe to have if you’re a daily player that plays indoor or outdoor and doesn’t mind a shoe to just throw on and throw down in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was very intrigued to try these shoes out because by the looks, the JA 1 looks like a very cool shoe. I love the design and actually think this shoe is great for a lifestyle shoe to add to anyone's repertoire. For me personally, playing basketball in these shoes, I do wish that it had a little bit more ankle support than it does. Honestly just a personal preference though. The shoe itself is a little bit snug, but I think that's good for functionality with basketball shoes. The shoes have great traction on the court and in every day action. All in all, I dig the shoe and think it's a great affordable shoe if you're in the market for a basketball/lifestyle shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice sneaker, love the colors and the style. As for playing in them, the upper is very thick, so it might take some breaking in. Tons of padding around the ankle! The grip is really nice, easy to move and stop. For me the heel really dug into my achilles which could cause some irritation over time, highly recommend trying this one on first. The shoe is snug but not too small, I think it’s a 1 to 1 fit, if you size up it could be too big. Maybe half size would work out if you have wide feet. Overall good construction, nice soft leather mixed with breathable mesh, a great looking daily or once in awhile on the court.

The design of the shoe is very nostalgic reminds me of a 90’s vibe I love the different colors they vibe perfectly! I got to use this shoe for basketball purposes and casual wear. On the court this shoe gives perfect stability and ankle support and great cushion for the sole of the foot! You can cut very well in this shoe and feel comfortable enough to cut corners and not worried about ankle roll! For casual wear I wore this shoe everyday for 4 days straight and I loved the feeling! This is a shoe I would recommend to anyone that can get their hands on them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these shoes. They are stylish and fits well. They material feels strong and durable. Even though the shoe is thick they are not extremely hot because of the mesh. My feet usually get very sweaty, but that was not a problem with the JA 1. They are wide without feeling too bulky. I wouldn't say they are more comfortable than most shoes, but my feet definitely don't feel tired even after walking long distances. Something I struggle with is having white shoes, I really like the look but they get dirty so fast. I have never gotten so many comments about my shoes as when I wear these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ja 1 was stylist and durable as I received multiple compliments just wearing the shoes. I was able to perform on concrete and in the gyms with no problem as the sneaks provided a crazy amount of grip. The toe box area was flat and a little snug with not much room (but is good when playing ball); will wait to see if it loosens over time. The materials were breathable and lightweight making shifty and explosive movements easy. The show was also versatile enough to provide stability during workouts and just wearing for leisure. Overall, I like the shoes and they are very comfortable, if you like more room in the toe box area, I suggest at least a half size up (especially if you wear double or thick socks).
