By default, I’m a slip on shoe type of gal. I hate the way most lace up shoes look with my pant choice. I wanted a lace up shoe that was less bulky around the lace and tongue area, like a slip on, and this shoe is it! The thinner, woven-esque tongue is perfect!
I’ve read mixed reviews on their comfort, but I have zero complaints. I’m a Kindergarten teacher and these are great everyday shoes. They provide comfort and support if you are on your feet all day, while also being stylish enough to pair with a business casual look.
I order my normal size (women’s 8) and they fit me perfectly.

Why is getting the size right so hard?!?

I am a women’s size 8 in every pair of shoes I own but I struggle so much with my sizing in adidas lately. I’ve had to return two other pairs of adidas in different models because of inconsistent sizing, and I’m about to give in and stick with these because they’re always sold out. I ended up sizing down to a 7.5 and they are ever so slightly touching the ends of my toes, which makes me wonder if the 8 would have actually been better or if this is the best it’ll get (but 8 was sold out of course). Other than that, they’re gorgeous and I love them. Hopefully the fit isn’t an issue down the road when wearing them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a lifelong fan and owner of over 20 pairs of Gazelles, this pair easily gets the most compliments. The velvet detailing is subtle yet distinct against the suede, adding just the right touch of texture to set it apart from other colorways. The hot orange stripes are fire against the magenta, and the addition of alternate orange laces take the design to another level. I recently bought a similar color combination—magenta suede with neon yellow—but I worried they'd feel too alike. However, the added velvet, the bold orange laces, and the solid magenta tongue give this pair its own vibe. I'm so glad I purchased both because they each make a statement in their own unique way.

Overcoming the squeak!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A bit torn as they squeaked continuously due to the tongue rubbing on the sides. I’m an 8 and found they came up small so I’ve since ordered an 8.5 and they don’t squeak as have more room for your foot to move. If you have wider feet I think they’ll squeak more, skinnier feet get away with the squeak, also thinner socks help. The colour is off in the photo, it’s a lighter shade, more of a dusky purpley, light grape colour so if you want burgundy, these are not that. I however prefer the colour, looks great with grey or a burgundy jumper! Also dark trainers don’t suit me, I always look better in lighter footwear and these give that look being a colour at the same time so very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color is vivid and unusual. Stands out in the sea of similar styles with its rich luxe color and sueded texture. Simply gorgeous. Runs half size large from Stan Smith fit if you have smaller, narrower feet. But no break in necessary and they have become a staple in daily wear. The suede gets nappier but not so it affects the look. One additional note for narrower footed wearers, you may need to pull the laces super tight which causes slight ruckling at the top of the laces but it doesn’t affect fit or comfort. Just a slight visual snag while staring at the sheer beauty of these sneakers.
