      Anything is possible in the Hoka Women’s Clifton 9 in Sandstone/Cream, the trainer that has a lower weight than previous iterations, but with an increased stack height, enhancing a shoe already famed for its low weight and deep cushioning, perfect for everyday steps when you need a touch of extra speed.

      The Hoka Women’s Clifton 9 sees the addition of an extra 3mm to its stack height for improved cushioning, while boasting a lighter weight than before, giving you a feeling of “anything is possible” as you lace up.A new, more responsive foam underfoot brings extra energy to your ride, bouncing you from stride to stride. The outsole utilises an improved design with Durabrasion rubber delivering long lasting traction, while up top, the upper uses a breathable engineered knit fabric, offering foot hugging comfort in a lightweight design. The tongue is gusseted to keep it in place throughout your activity, and a plusher heel offers improved comfort.

      Counting back, this is my fourth pair of Hoka. I started my journey when it was first recommended by my podiatrist 4 years ago when my plantar fasciitis was giving me problems. To be honest, it would not be my first choice as it isn’t the most stylish pair amongst other top brands. But the soles are just really comfortable and keeps my high arch feet well supported. It didn’t need any breaking in and was really to run as soon as I purchase it!

      These are great shoes post Ankle Replacement. They have good medial arch support, are lightweight but with plenty of cushioning. They also have a slight ‘rocking’ motion which makes the heel-toe movement easier.
