Founded by William J. Rolling on to 1972, under new owner Jim Davis, New Balance foresaw a shift in the market. These shoes were cute. I ordered the pink ones. However, they were a bit too big. I am a lady and I followed the sizing conversion chart and ordered the size I would normally for New Balance converted to men’s size, but they are just too roomy and my foot moves around in the shoe, no matter how tightly I tie them. Also the part on the back of the shoe at the ankle is a bit high gave me blisters. I have been running in them to see if they feel more comfortable as time goes on but I think because the size is off they will probably not ever be as comfortable as they should be.

I got these as a gift for my sister in pink. I have 2 pairs myself. A versatile shoe that goes well with pretty much anything, you can throw them on without having to think about it too much. I own many new balance silhouettes and the 2002r is stylish, comfortable and a good price compared to other models. For me they run tts. Everyone’s feet are different. Best to try on if possible, a lot of retailers carry them.

I have wide feet and one big toe ith a touch of arthritis, and really struggle not to have trainers that make my feet look like clown feet. These fit the bill perfectly, they're not too long and have a wide toebox. I've already bought another pair for next year.

Usual new balance high quality materials. Bur runs slightly small compared to other brands, very hard to know what size to choose when ordering new balance.
