Founded by William J. Rolling on to 1972, under new owner Jim Davis, New Balance foresaw a shift in the market. I have several pairs of 2002’s that I wear primarily for walking and as a lifestyle shoe around town. They are comfortable, fit to size,
and have been offered in a wide variety of color combinations. I have worn 990’s, 991’s, 992’s, and 993’s for many years. The 2002’s
compare favorably with these iconic NB offerings and at a comparatively reasonable price. Great looking, good support, and eye
catching. I normally wear size 13 2E or 14 D in a wide variety of NB shoes. Since the 2002’s are not offered in anything but D width
I have opted for size 14 D’s.
The fit is great with adequate room in the toe box. I like these shoes and highly recommend them.

I had to get a new pair of shoes while on tour because my old boots were hurting my heel and knee. I went into a WeRun shoe store and had a "foot reading" on a platform suggested New Balance sneakers. I tried them on and never even took the box as they fit perfectly with my 8.5 USA size. It was raining constantly for five days and my feet were completely dry and warm. My feet nor knee bothered me again. I came home and ordered another pair of a different color.

Nice shoe, but too wide for (most) women

Great style, love the color, and very comfortable. The only problem with this shoe is that it is sized for men and women even though women’s feet are more narrow and their heels are smaller than men’s. So while the length is perfect on me, the front of the shoe is way too wide and my heels up and down while walking. If you have narrow feet, these will probably be too wide for you. Unfortunately, I already wore the shoes outside so I can’t return them.

I wear 2002's for walking and casual wear, no running at my age. These are really nice looking shoes, they are comfortable, and they are reasonably priced. Fit to size even for my size 14 feet. These shoes have been made in a variety of styles and colors making them very desirable choices for anyone looking for the right pair of lifestyle shoes. Overall, I am very pleased with the 2002's that I have purchased.

I absolutely love these shoes!! They are extremely comfortable. I bought them and wore them all around my trip to Europe where I was averaging at least five miles a day and my feet didn't get sore or blister. I also love how stylish and neutral they are. I would highly recommend! If you are in between sizes, I would recommend going down a half size. I'm normally an 8.5 but I think I could've done an 8.

Highly Uncomfortable, very shocked. I've been trying to break in these shoes for 3 weeks now and I go back to my 8 year old Asics Gel Nimbus 20's every day; The 993 doesn't have the sustainable daily comfort I was hoping for. These absolutely no padding on the back of the shoe for the back of your heel and the tongue is also not padded as it should be. For he price New Balance cut too many corners

came quickly! so soft and looks amazingly cute! new balance has some of the best looks i’ve seen, and i’ve owned another 2002r new balance. by almost a year the back heel plastic jutted out and i couldn’t wear it anymore. this feels genuine quality though, and im hoping it lasts longer! i’m excited to use it for my vacationing trips and activities! gotta take care of em real good :)

The 2002r were on my list for a while, and I wasn't interested in any collaborations. When these color way dropped I had to pick them up! These are on par with the same great build quality as my 990v3s! I'm very impressed with the suede material and the level of comfort! I can wear them with anything and they give me that NB confidence! Will definitely pick up in another color
