    adidas Womens adizero SL

Designed as the everyday trainer within the adizero range, the adidas Women’s adizero SL in FTW White/Gold Met./Dash Grey is a neutral running shoe that excels in sessions leading up to race day.

The adidas Women’s adizero SL brings the SL back, and into its rightful home of the adizero speed range. Lightweight, it embodies the need to get through tough training sessions, ready for serious speed come race day.Lightstrike midsole foam provides a lightweight, fast feel, as well as deep cushioning to soak up the miles.A Lightstrike Pro drop in the forefoot reduces fatigue, allowing you to maximise every stride. The upper uses recycled materials to create an engineered mesh that maintains the lightness, while also providing a comfortable fit. A Continental rubber outsole provides grip in the wet or dry.

    Regular Cushioning

Regular cushioning offers a blend of lightness, comfort, and ground feel. Popular for shorter distance racing as well as training and daily mileage running, the lower stack of midsole foam offers inherent stability and a lighter feel on your foot when compared to max-stack shoes.

    Neutral

Neutral running shoes are designed to provide a smooth sensation without correcting your gait. They allow your natural motion to flow, while still offering a snug fit and a cushioned feel underfoot. As such, they’re ideal for runners who don’t overpronate.

    adidas

Building on their breakout success at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, when founder Adi Dassler’s spikes helped Jesse Owens to gold, adidas have become one of the biggest brands around, with the famous 3-Stripes seen on everyone from rappers to world record holders.

Known primarily for their lightweight race shoes and the legendary Ultraboost, they’re also gaining fans for their popular Terrex outdoor range.

If you’re trying on a pair of adidas running shoes, expect innovative design, excellent styling, and a sustainable approach to construction.

    These are a keeper.

Super light, crazy comfortable and tons of arch support. I love these shoes. I am an ultraboost lover and recently branched out to a different sole. Per other recommendations at them being cut small, I ordered my regular size 10 but also a 10.5 so I could compare. I kept the 10.5s. The color is very bright (I got the mint) and fun. I am slightly concerned about the longevity of the 2 elastic eyelets for the laces (the first 2 on the shoe). Hoping they hold up. Otherwise love these shoes and am contemplating getting a second pair in a different colorway.

    Underwhelming so far

I loved the SL20.3. I ran 20 milers and speed workouts in that pair. The shoe was so comfortable with great reponse. I was expecting more of the same with SL. I have almost 20km in these shoes. They feel small and tight in the toe box even though I have a thumb's width between my big toe on the longer foot. I also lace differently due to an injury and the shoes still feel tight on my narrow foot. Maybe they will eventually break in like the adios 6. They are a little clunky while running. For now, I'll reserve these shoes for 5 miles or shorter recovery runs.

Super comfortable, lightweight, great for travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight, comfortable and great looking shoe. I wore them out of the box to walk miles all around Vancouver for a four day vacation. Wore these with everything from workout gear to dresses. As a long time wearer of another very popular brand, I’m excited to return to wearing Adidas. I ordered my usual running shoes size 7 (about half size larger than my regular shoes, which are 6.5). They are fairly roomy through the toebox so I did lace them a little more tightly at the front. However, the overall fit and feel is fantastic.

    Good short distance daily trainers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only done one run in these so far and it was hill repeats (prob not the best first test). These are a bit stiff for non-plated shoes which I like, but I do think they could use a tad more cushion thus 4 stars. I will definitely use them for training runs, but nothing over 6 miles, most likely opting for something with more cushion for those longer runs. I think these were a great value for the price and are a great addition to my shoe rotation. Also, they look awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m into running, and these are the best pair of shoes I’ve had so far. Previously I’ve bought an Ultraboost Made with Nature although it was really comfortable for walking, they were giving me shin sprints when running. I’ve been using Adizero SL for all types of training and they are stable, comfortable, has a very good impact absorption, giving confidence to run faster and farther, and a plus, the color I’ve ordered is gorgeous!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the shoes except for the heel width & shoe laces. The heel width on most of the adidas shoes that I have (I have at least 8 pairs) feels wide therefore my heels keep slipping unless I loop the laces on the very last hole. The laces on this particular shoes compared to the other adidas shoes that I have is particularly flimsy. Other than this 2 comments, I like the color, style & comfort.

    Not a Running Shoe

If you want to wear this to work or the mall it's a perfectly stylish and well made shoe. I can not fathom running in this shoe. I tried it out on a 5 mile run and it is hard with absolutely no cushion, the toebox is very tight and my toes were numb by the end of my run. My legs were exhausted and my knees hurt. I returned them after one run. The worst shoe I have ever run in.

    Very small shoes box beware

The shoes looks nice and fur wide feet, but after trying them on, the shoes box are very small and not enough room, if that during running, it will hurt my feet so much and I feel my feet are squeezed inside the shoe box and the shoe lace very thin and can’t tighten the shoes! Shoes looks good but super uncomfortable! Sadly have to return and I do prefer Ultraboost

    Road Running

It might say road, but we don’t just mean pounding closed-off streets on race day. Road shoes are predominantly for the pavement.

They feature flat rubber traction for confident footing in the city and enhanced cushioning to soak up the strain of every stride.

    Best for Tempo Runs

Tempo runs are a type of training that involves running at a higher pace than normal for a shorter session, and, as such, Tempo shoes are built for fast training.

They’re designed to offer both speed and durability, hitting a sweet spot between lightness, energy return, and comfort.

You can expect them to soak up more miles than your race day shoe and offer more speed than your daily trainers.
