As the name suggests, the GEL 100 CAF 100 contains 100 milligrams of caffeine – significantly more than most gels on the market – and also delivers 25 grams of carbohydrates, enabling uptake of up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour thanks to a 0.8:1 glucose to fructose ratio.
Such an amount of caffeine makes a major difference to perceived effort, reducing the noticeable effects of fatigue and, in combination with the carbohydrates, allowing you to perform at your best for longer.
