The Manchester City striker receives his second signature Nike football boot
Nike are back at it for 2025 by delivering Erling Haaland his second signature edition football boot as Chapter Two of his exclusive Phantom GX II series arrives into The World's Largest Bootroom at Pro:Direct Soccer.
Nike rewarded Haaland with his first personalised Phantom GX after his record breaking first Premier League season but it’s been nearly a year since the first proper signature boot dropped back in March 2024 for the Man City Number 9, and one year on, we’re back with a second boot for the striker. Chapter One was a boot with an eye popping crimson red celebrating his Norwegian heritage and the colour of confidence and Chapter Two further celebrates his career.
Many of us have referred to Haaland as a force of nature for being an absolute powerhouse of a player with superhuman goal scoring abilities, and that’s what Chapter Two is designed around, being a true force of nature.
This boot is inspired by the Earth's natural phenomena, such as magma, supermoons, and meteor strikes and the colours around the heel reflect these awe-inspiring events. The upper is dominated with Nike’s innovative GripKnit technology in this deep dark blue colourway which blends beautifully into the force of nature inspired heel which features Haaland’s “Force 9” detailing. The metallic swoosh really pops out and has this textured finish .
There’s no changes in this boot from the latest Nike Phantom models. You’ve still got the gripknit technology upper and flyknit collar to offer that locked in feel. Underneath on the soleplate they’ve stayed with the Cyclone 360 soleplate for sharper movements when changing direction.
