      Extremely disppointed

I'm extremely disappointed, especially given the hefty price tag, to find that the shoes have the lifespan of a housefly. After approximately twelve pick-up games, I was dismayed to find the front sole beginning to detach and rip away from the rest of the shoe. This, coupled with my experience with the Predator Freak (that I got here in 2021, which failed in the most catastrophic way, see photo), reviews on other websites and experience by soccer mates RE: Mundial, leads me to believe that newer shoe models lack the durability and longevity of older, traditionally made shoes. I'm at loss now, not sure what shoes I should get as a replacement.

I have a pair of x15.1, which I got because those were the only boots available at the store I visited. I wanted to go for a classic black and white style with leather but they just didnt have that option. But someone told me about copa mundials and as soon as i saw them and read the reviews I knew this was what I wanted. They are extremely comfortable, my touches feel great, and they werent heavy at all as some reviewers had suggested. Sizing was a little bit confusing. Initially i ordered half a size down, but those were too big, so i ordered a full size down to get the optimim fit. Very happy with the purchase. Love the classic look!

      Didn't live up to expectations

With everybody ranting and raving about these boots, I had to try them out for myself. I had pretty high expectations and was pleased with the comfort and performance out of the box. The leather was nice and soft, but these shoes are nowhere near as sturdy as all the adidas fanboys would like you to believe. I got a huge tear (over 2 inches) between the leather and the sole after a couple months of very moderate use. And the tear was not a result of a hard tackle or anything, I just cut to the side and next thing I knew my right boot was ripped right open. Quite disappointing as I enjoyed the comfort and feel while they lasted.

I have worn Copas ever since they were introduced. I like the fact that you can "wear them in" - in just a few hours. DO only buy a 1/2 size smaller - NOT a full size. If you want them to stretch faster, first stand in a bucket of hot water for 15 mins, then slowly dry them out - stuff with newspaper to dry. They work on all but the muddiest of fields, and are actually quite acceptable on artificial turf fields as well. If you take care of them, they will last about one year (with 3 to 4 times per week of use). The will after time begin to separate from the plastic sole - particularly on the outside of the boot. The toe lasts longer because of the three rivets.

      The Best Cleats Ever Made

There is a reason why these cleats have been around for so long. It's because of their comfort, strength, durability, etc. One piece of advice, try the cleats on a the store before you purchase them because the leather on each pair may be a little different and if you have purchased a pair in the past, you probably have realized that the cleat stretches after multiple uses. I've had one pair of these cleats for over a year and I play hard each week and they are still in great shape. These are leather, so you may have to use a shoe freshener every once in a while. Overall, these are an incredible purchase for everyone.

Great Soccer Cleats with Superb Quality Made

I bought the cleats from ADIDAS NYC and, fortunately, I had a chance to try on. I usually wear 8.5US for other Adidas' cleats but this Copa Mundial got me 6.5US!!!! That was 2-size smaller! So that, if you have a chance to try-on, it'd be a lot better and safe more time. The cleats are well-made with double stitch along the cleats. Also, the leather quality is the best in class. For the work-quality, I think it is better than the Copa 17.1 since it looks more durable. Playing on these shoes is somewhat comfortable. However, the cleats give you a comfortable touch and wearing but not really firm and fit as I want. Overall I'm really satisfied with this Copa Mundial.

      Atypically Bad Experience

Doesn’t disappoint, EXCEPT WHEN IT DOES. Copas are old school - not the lightest, non-ergonomic flat soleplate, goofy flappy tongue, but classic materials and craftsmanship, and reputedly dependable. I have had some that lasted years and years. The most recent pair fell apart after light use. Used only as a referee for about six games on grass. Early in a game, the leather began to pull loose from the soleplate on the outer forefoot. Having no spare shoes at hand, attempted to soldier on through the game, but the shoe kept opening up further back until it was all the way to to the heel and totally unusable. Very disappointed, but your experience may vary. Sad experience.

      Simply the Best Soccer Cleats

This is truly worth the money because you are getting the most comfortable soccer cleats ever built in history. It is still made in Germany so quality is guaranteed. The cleats has an archaic sizing scale so you should go down 1 full US size to get the right fitting length. This is one of few soccer cleats that you don't need to worry about the width once you got the length right. The high quality kangaroo leather will stretch to fit your foot. They are a bit heavy based on modern day standard mainly because it is made in 100% kangaroo leather. Its durability edges most of the cleats in the market.

      Ground Type Guide

Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your football boots, but also to avoid the risk of injury.

Using an outsole that isn't designed specifically for the surface on which you are playing may cause premature wear and/or damage that will not be deemed as a fault of manufacture and will prevent the retailer accepting them for a refund or exchange.

      Firm Ground

Boots with Firm Ground soleplates are only to be used on natural, short-grass surfaces that are firm underfoot but may be slightly wet. Designed specifically for this playing surface, they offer acceleration, comfort, and enhanced traction, dispersing stud pressure evenly across the foot. FG soleplates are fixed (not removable) and are used worldwide; wetter countries tend to use them spring to autumn. FG boots are not to be used on artificial ground (AG) surfaces as the construction is not designed for the extra friction. Using FG boots on AG surfaces will invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty.
