Mizuno Alpha Made In Japan SG Mix
Reach peak speed in an instant with Mizuno Alpha Made In Japan SG Mix football boots in Blue Curacao/Snow White/Red Brown Satin, featuring a lightweight design that’s crafted for fast moves and decisive play.
The Alpha is the pinnacle of speed boots, combining a super-light, layered synthetic upper with responsive Enerzy foam to make sure you come out on top in any kind of footrace.
Borrowed from Mizuno’s most popular running shoes, Enerzy returns a huge amount of energy whenever your foot meets the ground, propelling you forward quickly and efficiently. It’s highly resilient, too, providing cushioning at the rearfoot to keep you comfortable throughout the 90 minutes and beyond.
The upper’s five-layer construction is the other key to the Alpha’s fast, lightweight feel. You’ve got a suede-like lining and a sponge layer for comfort, a skeletal frame for support, a stretchy woven layer for an adaptable fit, and a thin PU outer layer for touch. All engineered with typical Mizuno precision.
Sitting at the apex of the Alpha range, the Made In Japan edition boasts Mizuno’s springy KaRVO RS insole board, which makes the boot even quicker, especially over the first few yards.
Boot Class = Elite
Alpha
If you’re more familiar with the Japanese brand’s traditional leather offerings, the Alpha is a very different proposition, favouring a light and fast feel above all. It is, though, crafted with the same care and attention that Mizuno afford every boot they make, and there’s a Made in Japan edition available for you true boot aficionados.
Thanks to some clever engineering, the Alpha is extremely comfortable too, utilising a layered design with soft sponge and texturing on the inside to keep your foot snugly in position. Unlike many of today’s speed boots, it also features a conventional tongue and lace setup for a more adaptable fit, making it a great option for pacey players with wider feet.
Mizuno
Known for their quality and craftsmanship, Mizuno football boots are the pinnacle of boot design for many players. That’s especially the case with their “Made in Japan” leather boots, which are handcrafted from the most premium materials. They’re so good, some players won’t wear anything else.
Their longest-serving boot, the Morelia, was originally developed in the 80s to offer a lightweight, natural feel to South Americans who’d grown up playing barefoot. The idea was to showcase their flair, touch, and skill, and that’s still the thinking with the modern Morelia, whether you choose the Morelia Neo with its advanced tech or the classic, ever-comfortable Morelia II.
The Mizuno collection also includes the speedy Alpha and the control-focused Rebula, while the Monarcida range offers a more affordable alternative to the Morelia.

Ground Type Guide
Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your football boots, but also to avoid the risk of injury.
Using an outsole that isn't designed specifically for the surface on which you are playing may cause premature wear and/or damage that will not be deemed as a fault of manufacture and will prevent the retailer accepting them for a refund or exchange.
Soft Ground
Soft Ground (SG) soleplates are specifically designed for use on wet and soft to very soft natural grass pitches that may also be muddy and/or waterlogged. Used worldwide, mainly during winter months, boots made for soft ground have removable, replaceable screw-in studs that can be plastic, entirely metal, or metal-tipped and typically come in a six-stud configuration – four at the forefoot, two slightly longer at the heel.
