After beating both Liverpool and Manchester United 3-1 in the fourth round and quarter-final, respectively, Tottenham drew a Leicester side that had already defeated them once that season in the Premiership for the final. After a mostly even game, Allan Nielsen latched onto a rebound in the final minute of the game and knocked it home to win Tottenham’s third League Cup. The unique club crest – only ever used from 1997-1999 – creates a distinctive look that is forever connected to the iconic cup victory, and the old-school hooped collar and cuffs and Hewlett-Packard sponsor complete a throwback look perfect for long-time Spurs fans.
