Their history goes all the way back to company founder Karl Reusch, who experimented with glove designs for decades before he and his son Gebhard chose to focus on gloves for sport in the early 1970s.
Having produced market-leading gloves for winter sports, they then became innovators in football, creating the first ever goalkeeper gloves to use latex on the palm in 1973. The revolutionary design was developed in partnership with legendary German keeper Sepp Maier, with Reusch employing a collaborative approach between player and glovemaker that serves as the ethos of the brand to this day.
